About Us

A1Architects is a residential architecture design practice founded in 2005 and located in Dublin.
Our company specialises in the design of houses, house extensions and small residential developments to include listed historic buildings. All our designs are focused on increasing the building performance, maximising light and reducing the energy loss.  Our projects range in size from about 50,000 to 2,000,000 euro in value.  A1 Architects is committed to producing the best possible solution for each individual client at the highest level of service and quality.

Wojciech Kordyl, 
MSc Arch and Urban Design, MRIAI, Architect Accredited in Conservation Grade 3

Wojciech has more than 20 years architectural experience in practices in Poland, Ireland and the UK. Studied architecture at Cracow University of Technology from 1994 and received his Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Design in 1999. In 2002 he was elected a member of The National Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland. He practiced in Poland prior to joining Paul Duignan & Associates in Dublin in 2002. During his career he also worked as senior Architect for Douglas Wallace Architects (primarily on large commercial, leisure and health projects) and for McCrossan O’Rourke Manning Architects (residential projects). Wojciech is member of the RIAI since 2005.

Andrzej Bednarski,
MSc Arch and Urban Design, MSc. Eng, IARP

Andrzej graduated from Cracow University of Technology with a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Design. Andrzej is a member of The National Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland.  He practiced in Poland prior to joining Terry & O’Flanagan Architects & Engineers in Dublin in 2002, where he worked on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects before joining Walsh Associates where along with his project responsibilities he gained significant technical experience of large scale residential and commercial developments.
